The British Stiff Upper Lip

What is it about the British and our stiff upper lip?

Why do we feel we have to control our feelings and ‘just get on with it?’ We tell ourselves if we ignore it, it will go away, especially if it's something negative. We convince ourselves we can move on from it.

The problem is – it doesn’t. It keeps coming back, especially at times of stress when those memories we tried so hard to push down regurgitate, spilling over and filling our thoughts.

  • They leave us feeling inadequate

  • That we are the only one who can't cope

  • Feelings of failure

  • We can feel anxious or depressed

  • Maybe we isolate ourselves, believing we don't fit on

That negative mind chatter fills our heads and we just can't stop them. They even build up with more and more negative thoughts and beliefs piling on to the already rubbish feelings.

How would it feel to lessen that chatter, and be able to feel more in control?

I am sharing some techniques to quieten those voices in a totally FREE Guide -
