  • About me #02Personal Approach

I offer integrative counselling, with a warm, caring approach to problem solving and healing. My approach is accepting and non-judgmental, supportive but deeply effective; allowing clients time and space to be heard, and explore more about themselves, and the issues they are facing - at their own pace; most often bringing about lasting and positive results. I endeavour to respect every individual I see regardless of difference, cultural or ethnic background, age, gender or sexual orientation.

Counselling can provide a safe space where you can talk through your difficulties and concerns with a trained professional who will not judge you, but who will aim to help you to understand yourself more fully and assist you in finding a way forward by being your journey companion on the road to a better, happier life. And by supporting in whatever choices you make. Counselling does not involve giving advice or directing you to take a particular course of action.

Acceptance and respect for you are essential in counselling. As the relationship develops, so too does trust between the counsellor and client, allowing you to look at many aspects of your life, relationships and yourself in a way you may not have considered or been able to face before
